You can start selling after you've become a registered seller. To begin selling, login to 'My Account' and click the "Easy Peddler Classified" link in the Account Navigation. Step 1: Choose an item title The first step in selling an item is creating a title for your item. This is the title of your listing, and this is what will appear in the search results when someone searches for your item. Choose a good title with many keywords. In our example listing below, we've chosen to sell a Morgan Dollar coin. We've used "1884-CC" to describe the coin (i.e., it was minted in the year 1884 from Carson City). We've also stated the coin was graded, in "MS64" which is a coin grade for "mint state" coins. Step 2: Choose a category

Choose a category from our drop-down list of available categories. When you select a category, your item will be placed in that specific category so it can be found easier. In our example coin listing, we've chosen the category "Coins and Currency." If you can't seem to find an appropriate category, select the "Everything Else" category. Please use the "Everything Else" category as a last resort.

Step 3: Choose an asking price
Your asking price is the dollar amount that you want for your item. If your price is negotiable, specify that only in the description. Only the dollar sign ($), decimal point (.), and number characters are allowed in this field.

Step 4: Select a listing duration
Decide how long you want your listing to appear on Easy Peddler (between 1 and 4 months.)

Step 5: Select the amount of pictures
You are allowed to post up to 6 pictures to your item's listing at no additional charge. Important: You will not be able to change the amount of pictures you can list once the item has been listed.

Step 6: Enter the item's description
The description explains what you are offering to prospective buyers. This is what your prospective buyers will read when deciding whether or not they are interested in buying your item. Make sure your description is as complete, clear, and informative as possible. Important: Be as honest as possible about what you are selling. Do not lie or exaggerate. If your item is damaged, clearly describe how the damage occurred and where the damage is located. When you are done, click the "Next" button to proceed to the next step.

Easy Peddler does not display email address contact information in our listings for security reasons. The seller may--at his or her sole discretion--choose to include an email contact in the listing description. We recommend against this, however, because of the possibility of email and phishing scams.




Step 7: Upload your picture(s)
If you've chosen to add picture(s) to your listing, select them now. If you've chosen to not add pictures, go to Step 9. Click the "Browse..." button to find the pictures on your computer. Select the picture, click "Open" to add the picture to the page. Repeat this process until you've added all your pictures. When you're done, click the "Next" button. Important: Each picture you add may not exceed a file size of 200k (about 200,000 bytes). Also, picture file extensions may only be in .jpg, .gif, or .bmp format.



Step 8: Review your uploaded pictures
Next, check to make sure all your pictures have been uploaded to Easy Peddler. If any of your pictures are missing, check to make sure they meet the proper size and file extension criteria. To view a full size version of your picture, click the magnifying glass icon. To delete a picture, select the trash can icon.



Step 9: Review your listing summary
You should now be ready to submit your listing. Your charge for this listing, as well as your accrued monthly balance, and, if applicable, your credit balance appears at the top your your listing summary. Please make sure pictures are correct, as you won't have an opportunity to change them once the listing has been submitted. To submit the listing, click the checkbox, then click the "Submit Listing" button.

Your listing will now appear in our search results. You can find your item by searching for a direct keyword or by browsing the category search.



Congratulations! Your listing is now active for the duration you've chosen.
